Yes .. deception is very unbecoming.

^_^

Didn't learn a thing, did you?

You're trying so hard to nullify my point with variables, you can't see the forest for the trees.

Here, see if this is deceptive:

If you drop a penny at the exact same time you fire a gun, the penny and the bullet will both fall at the same rate due to gravity, meaning they will hit the ground at roughly the same time, despite the bullet traveling much faster initially; however, the bullet will travel a much greater distance because of its significantly higher velocity upon leaving the gun.

So, here is your original statement is quoted below, from your post #58, which is presumably yours and not someone else's.

You need to learn to stand up to account for what you write in a science forum, (even when its about science trivia), rather than shift to what someone else wrote, in order to defend your originally poorly worded claims:
If you fire a bullet from a .44 magnum in a vacuum, and drop a penny at the same time, both the bullet and the penny will hit the ground at the same time.
Its hilarious that you're defending the counterintuitivity of the scientific viewpoint here, whilst simultaneously attempting to erase the concept of measurement uncertainty in empirical science, whilst having an avatar caption which reads: Science can take a hike'.

Such a confused and conflicted bunch of premises you hold as a worldview.
Almost nothing you assert about science can be taken as being so. Aka: deception, (meaning: 'a thing that deceives').

You can scratch your head wondering what I wrote if you want to.

If you think it's poorly worded, fix it and let's see your version of how I should have worded it.

(Or, as I suspect, did you feature creep it with variables beyond your ability to understand it?)

Here it is again, plain and simple:

If you fire a bullet from a .44 magnum in a vacuum, and drop a penny at the same time, both the bullet and the penny will hit the ground at the same time.

If you think that's poorly worded, fix it.

No one else is harping about it.

I suspect it's because they've either heard it before, or understand the science behind it -- or both.

I didn't write it .. you did .. so you fix it!

I didn't write it .. you did .. so you fix it!

Better yet -- test it yourself.

You know.

In a laboratory.

Under controlled conditions.

Let me know if I'm wrong.

(Or, as I suspect, can the scientific method take a hike now?)
