Hey all,
I'm reasonably new to the forums, so I'm not sure how appropriate this is.... but:
I've got what I think are some interesting ideas for some stories (historical, scifi, superhero, and fantasy). But the only one I have to really work with on these is a colleague at work who's designing his own RPG system. Though he's very creative, his ideas are usually FAR from being Christian.
I would love to dialogue with someone who at least understands some of the premises I've chosen to work with. Even if they aren't explicit in my stories, the following concepts are always at least underlying:
God is sovereign.
The miraculous is present in both history and fantasy.
The main character is moved through the story by consequences of his actions and the actions of those around him or her, but ultimately God's designes for his or her life take precedence. God works through science, sociology, psychology, and the miraculous to bring the conclusion.
As I said before, some of the stories don't state this exclusively, but God in control is key to my personal understanding, so will be key to anything I may write.
