Tread carefully here. I have absolutely no inhibitions about a solid debate. But please try to keep it solid, because let's bear in mind the potential of Direct Revelation to open up important venues. Examples:
(1) With 100 billlion souls at stake, Direct Revelation can govern our evangelism to a degree far more effective than traditional exegesis can.
(2) With prophets in place, Direct Revelation could have forewarned entire nations about viruses such as Covid-19, thereby saving hundreds of thousands of lives.

If it turns out I'm right that Direct Revelation is preeminent, you don't want to have to answer to God for having unduly disdained it.
