  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Leviticus 20:9 (King James Version)

9 For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.

This should be a verse near and dear to "clirus' " heart when it comes toi correcting "soft on sin." Is the OP prepared to "stone" her own children or be considered a "hypocrite" in the eyes of God?

The Church should rebuke sin/evil in obedience to God, and the State should rebuke evil/sin for health, safety and economic reasons.

Sorry, I'ld rather have freedom and take the consequences than have to deal with people like you trying to run my life a thousand miles away.

And I'ld kill and die for that belief.

Read on and you'll see that I clearly say that "the State has no compelling reason (either safety or economical) to rebuke/eliminate some things that the Church calls sin." Of course the State has a compelling reason to rebuke murder, rape and incest. But it has no such reason, neither safety nor economical, to rebuke/eliminate homosexuality or pornography. The reasons for rebuking these last two are religious, not political (safety or economic), and so the State has no reason to do so.

There is a compelling reason to eliminate homosexuality and pornography its called the decay of the value of marriage and the spread of Aids. Read up on the divorce rate and find out how many of those broken relationships started with peoples addiction to pornography. Lust and perversion is spreading because people are not standing up for the truth. They would rather satisfy their needs of the moment until those needs consume them and their need for commitment or faith in God. The seperaton of state and religion was created to protect your faith not the state. The United States was a nation that began under God, and now it continues to move itself away from the pure ethics that founded it.

You probably will die because of that belief, and if enough of you exist, such that people with a similar belief can elect the congress and president, we may all die because of that belief.

At first AIDS was only in the male homosexual population, but then it got into the female population, then into the children. Now TB is reemerging because of the weakened immune system of HIV/AIDS people.

The most despicable hateful act that Obama has done is to force the military to drop the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy.

Either the Bible is correct on homosexually or Christians are be biggest fools to ever exist.

A Christian is a person that has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord/Savior and has committed to following the Commandments/Doctrines of the Bible.

No Christian should ever vote for any democrat running for any office until there is repentance by the democratic party.

No Christian should spend/give one penny with any organization that in any way supports the democratic party.

The Church should rebuke sin/evil in obedience to God and the State should rebuke/execute evil/sin because of health, safety and economic reasons.

Die from sin, or die from one of your execution squads -- really, what's the difference?

I don't bother to report people that attack me, but I would ask you to apologize or show reference to where I ever called for execution squads.

I do believe in a jury trial and execution for those that have been found guilty of violating Civil Law.

There is a clear difference between a Jury Trial and a Execution Squad.

There is no distinction except in your own twisted viewpoint.

Aids also spreads in heterosexual partnerships. By your logic then the State also has a compelling reason to eliminate heterosexuality as well as homosexuality!

It was also created to protect me from your faith.

Congratulations! You figured it out! Diseases spread. Wow. What a revelation!
Now, if the theory is right, you ought to blame monkeys for the initial spread of HIV, not homosexuals.

Including this civil law?

"A better way to deal with this situation is to get rid of guilty parents. America needs to have an Absolute Paternity Law that say parents must provide for their children. Failure to provide for their children (as proved by asking for government assistance) should be punishable by death using the three strikes and you are out concept."

So, anyone who asks for welfare, food stamps, unemployment, or even Social Security a third time gets executed?

You're going to need some serious manpower to make that happen.

Really? I think if a gay person has the cohones to pick up a gun and haul 80 pounds of gear around in 120 degree heat, more power to em.

Either the Bible is correct on homosexually or Christians are be biggest fools to ever exist.

You probably don't want me to answer that.

I do believe in a jury trial and execution for those that have been found guilty of violating Civil Law.

Would you have the state imprison and execute people for committing biblical sins?

There is a clear difference between a Jury Trial and a Execution Squad.

Not when we're talking about kangaroo trials.

Response

You may be proud of the gay person for hauling the 80 pounds of gear, but I am worried about the shower room where the AIDS get spread.
