  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Dude, just use the tried and true method. Point at her and say "You". Then point at yourself and say "Me". Then snap your fingers and say "Now".

I promise you that you will get a very favorable result.
Where have you been all my life???

Wherever it is, please stay there!

Thats how I ask for dances :p

(Actually in competition during tango when the music starts you are suppose to extend your left hand straight out towards the lady with an expression and body language as if to not politely request her to dance but to demand her to dance.)

But actually in social situations I just put my left hand out. You don't have to really say anything.

When a girl wants to ask she may do it multiple ways. (socially) Stand by you and give you a look as if to say "Why arn't you dancing with me?"

Point at you and the dance floor as if to say "Get your butt out here"

Grab you and pull you out. . .

(And I'm not joking about "Point at you and then the dance floor", I have had girls do this)

That's kinda cute. It's nice for the ladies to take initiative every once in a while.

Yeah they don't like it when you take a break.

Actually I'm very serious though when I say its really really annoying when there are only 8 guys and like 30 women there.

It sucks because you really don't get a break from dancing. You just keep going and going. We're out there (guys) doing pretty much every song for about 2 hours. The women get to dance a lot less.

The women that take intitive get more dances.

And honestly though simple fact is that you can not dance with someone else after you have turned someone down. (Unless you state that you promised someone else that dance) If you did dance with someone else its considered a very rude slap in the face. (For obvious reasons)

Sounds like a good workout though and a nice way to meet somebody. Question for you though: What are you expected to wear? I'm looking at taking some classes in my area....
