So, what Social Media platforms are you on?

In the past few years, have you joined more or dropped more platforms?

I’m primarily on Facebook and Instagram, but am also on MeWe, Friendica, and SpaceHey.

I’ve tried Twitter, but always felt like I was posting into a void; not much reciprocity there. It is useful if you want to embed your posts from somewhere to your website, however.

Was the world a better place before we could post, tweet, like, and publish our every thought, whim, experience, or opinion? Has Social Media made the world, and society, better, or worse? Has Social Media had a positive or a negative influence on journalism, how we get our news and info, and how we make our decisions in life?

It was a much better place, I lived before the madness called the internet eroded society, make no mistake society was eroding without the internet but the internet sped it up greatly. We are a poorer people because of the internet and social media. I do fantasize about finding a genie's lamp and wishing away the internet, smart phones , and all that rot.
