Wow. Do you vote?Hypothetically speaking should one also be embarrassed for thinking that Sanders parallels a genocidal regime?

They spoke out of turn? How awfully uncouth! I place the lives of black people above the sensibilities of white people. Call me crazy. Sanders has incorporated criminal justice reform into his platform as result, and now works with BLM, by the way.If the issue was important the two women in question would have sought a permit to speak at their own rally rather than threaten and intimidate a Democratic presidential candidate to step from his own dais and let them speak.
What in the world are you talking about? Where's the hate speech in BLM's message? And yet you differentiate the hate speech of BLM from that of Donald Trump.
I said borderline fascist, meaning there are aspects to his rhetoric which resemble that authoritarian mode of government. The mass deportation and stigmatization of minorities in particular. I'm not at all embarrassed of my use of the term or that Sanders is a social democrat. I'm Canadian. We don't fear the sorts of things Bernie talks about because we've already adopted many of them. Tommy Douglas was a social democrat and he created what is now our healthcare system.I'd suggest you learn what Fascist politics embodies before embarrassing yourself further thinking Trump is the example of that. His background , his work ethic, the party he's running for, and his business model refute Fascism in its entirety. While the man you praise, Sanders, is a Socialist. Maybe learn what Socialism entails as a political model after you learn what Fascism is.
I think "authoritarian" is a perfect word for Trump. Trump has obvious similarities to fascists, but I think calling him a fascist clearly goes too far. It's a word normally used to describe people like Hitler, Franco, and Mussolini.I said borderline fascist, meaning there are aspects to his rhetoric which resemble that authoritarian mode of government. Again, I did say borderline, and it wasn't meant only as an insult. The stuff he says is dangerous, whether or not he believes it. He's creating mainstream acceptance for those views. If you go to Stormfront you'll see that, while they don't agree with him on much (especially Israel), the white supremacists are hoping Trump will create wider acceptance of their racist and anti-immigrant beliefs. They're super pumped about the wall and banning Muslims.I think "authoritarian" is a perfect word for Trump. I dunno, I wouldn't be that scared of him yet if I were a Republican. It doesn't look like he can even get past Hillary.Who would have thought the GOP is scared of a nice, old Jewish white man.
You can tell they realize the threat he poses when you see there are no comparable hit pieces against Martin O'Malley.
Even if that is true , there apparently is something about him that causes a Khmer Rouge comparison to now attach itself to a man that would be hard pressed to live to finish his first term were he elected as the oldest president in our history.I dunno, I wouldn't be that scared of him yet if I were a Republican. Next year, we may start seeing fisticuffs on the floor of Congress, just like some of those YouTube videos from third-world countries.

And he will boast about it, "Look, I am a guy that gets things done. I don't wait to a bunch of losers and liars for permission."
Call me crazy, but I suspect a degree of partisan inspired revisionism here. I've never heard anyone, ever, right or left, say anything good about the Khmer Rouge. I am willing to accept that people older than me and in different places have had a different experience, but I'd want to see some supporting evidence.Until these trials began, the Khmer Rouge were heroes to the Sanders left. They fiercely defended the Khmer Rouge no matter what the reports of their atrocities, because of their commitment to “social justice.”
LOL.The difference between the Khmer Rouge and guys like Sanders is what they have the political leverage to inflict.
Maybe they're anti-semitic? lol Oh yeah. I tossed the anti-semitic card into the argument.Who would have thought the GOP is scared of a nice, old Jewish white man.
