i use lever2000. there are different kinds of scents with that brand. i like it.

as for shampoos, i use two in ones. condition plus shampoo. i do rotate between two different kinds though. someone told me once that it helps the health of your scalp and hair if you often switch. my hair is pretty short but i do it anyway.

i go with head and shoulders (normal blend) and typically experiment with other brands.

what say you?

Well, if I wasn't all weird about chemicals, I'd be using Dove and Pantene...but alas.

I use Organix for shampoo and conditioner. And a liquid body wash by J.A.S.O.N. ...Neither of which are %100 free of crap, but it's better than most products.

I mostly get whatever is cheapest, I don't need special things to frilly myself up.

Usually Irish Spring and currently a body wash for my head (I normally use shampoo on my bald head cause regular soap dries it out and looks nasty.) but I am out so I am using a body wash that has been sitting around collecting dust for about 6 years now. :D

When I had hair, I used Irish Spring and Pantene.

Wow, no meat AND you dont even swim in chemicals?

I bet meat man lives under powerlines, eats nothing but high fructose corn syrup stuff, his house is coated in a lead based paint with asbestos insulation AND he washes his hair with soap, shampoo and conditioner with nothing but chemicals. Oh and his carpet has mold.....

Just to offset your lifestyle. ^_^

I use Dove soap or bodywash mainly, and sometimes I'll use a bodywash from Bath & Body Works.

As for shampoo and conditioner, there's nothing like Herbal Essences for my hair. I try to switch out, but there is something in that brand of shampoo that makes my hair look and behave its best. I also use Suave Clarifying shampoo once or twice a week to help with any buildup.

The shampoo I like best is a Herbalife everyday shampoo and the conditioner is nice too. I don't use conditioner very often, makes my hair feel heavy and greasy. But right now I think I have swave. I have to be careful of soaps, I have very sensitive skin and some products give me hyves. Soap right now is Yardley's oat and honey I think. It takes me forever to go through soap, for above reason.

Irish Spring. I even use it as hand soap because the liquid handsoap we get will dry my skin out if I use it too much.

If I had my way (and it wasn't so ridiculously hard to find), the shampoo I'd be using would be Nizoral. But otherwise it's usually Suave. Nizoral is the only thing we've found that works for my scalp, after years of Head and Shoulders doing absolutely nothing to control the dandruff and scalp itch (which is sometimes so bad my scalp starts bleeding). The ketoconazole in the Nizoral kills off or severely reduces the fungus that's responsible for it, and that lets my scalp heal properly - which is what it's supposed to do.

The problem - aside from there being shortages of the product over the past few years from manufacturing issues - is that people misuse it for trying to combat hair loss (which is not clinically verified by proper studies). I wouldn't be surprised if that's a factor in why it's so hard to find, for those of us that use the stuff properly for anti-dandruff treatment. And unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any other companies producing generic ketoconazole shampoo in the US (edit: actually, it seems there is at least one, but they focus on that hair loss angle).
