Yes true.Who knows, maybe there are real prophets among us?
I would say there are no prophets today, but we are able to prophesy whch isn't the same.Yes true.
They are in proper disciplined Pentecostal churches where the operation of the Holy Spirit voice
gifts are practised in decency and in order.
Diversities of tongues followed by interpretation, and with prophesy.
We do this every Sunday at our communion meetings.
And yes the prophets speak of these last days. The Lord warns us that the end is imminent and that
the whole world, including us his church, shall experience war and tribulations sooner than later.
Watch and pray.
I would say there are no prophets today, but we are able to prophesy whch isn't the same.
Yes there still are prophets that operate the gift of prophesy within true Pentecostal churches ...I would say there are no prophets today,
Yes there still are prophets that operate the gift of prophesy within true Pentecostal churches ...
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers,
after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
1 Corinthians 12:
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors
and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Ephesians 4:
26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
29 Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.
1 Corinthians 14:
Revelation 1:1The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him,.....It's not the denial of God's word though. Revelation was written in the time of the Apostles. It was pointing to what was going to happen in their lifetime!
Jesus did say that it was their generation:
Matthew 24:34
34 Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away till all these things take place.
Revelation 1:1The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him,.....
Matthew 24:30 and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
That's what everything in Revelation is leading up to.... the Revealing of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Almighty, the Lord of Heaven in perceptible form. The powers of heaven and earth will be shaken, and moved out of the way on that day.
...to shorty come to pass, against the backdrop of creation. Jesus is the Alpha and Omega. God does not have a beginning and end. It is talking about Jesus being the creator, the Alpha, of creation; and the end of this present world and heaven, the Omega; which Jesus will create a new heaven and new earth.
If you are talking about Revelation and Jesus's Return in Matthew 24 - no, Jesus did not say any of it would pass during the Apostles, generation. And it did not happen in their generation.Jesus stated that it would all come to pass in the Apostles generation. Of which, it did.
Too many people think the end is nigh in our generation. False
Jesus conquered. Jesus won
If you are talking about Revelation and Jesus's Return in Matthew 24 - no, Jesus did not say any of it would pass during the Apostles, generation. And it did not happen in their generation.
The book Revelation, all of it, is about the end times events leading up to the Revealing of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Almighty, the Lord of Heaven in perceptible form. The powers of heaven and earth will be shaken, and moved out of the way on that day. Every eye will see Him.
The context of the chapter MUST be understood as an answer to this three part question, and NOT ONLY the stones falling.Matthew 24:34
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all these things be accomplished.
I was not referring to Matthew 24:34.... but to the statement you made on REVELATION. The what in Revelation - explain. You wrote...Matthew 24:34
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all these things be accomplished.
Revelation didn't happen yet but it's going to
It wouldn't make sense if it already happen...none of that makes sense....what are you talking about...Been and gone. Jesus conquered all.
Revelation is 70AD.
Don Preston explains it extremely well indeed.
It wouldn't make sense if it already happen...none of that makes sense....what are you talking about...
