The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

I never said believed in hell. I doubt hell as well.
I don't know if this helps or not raven. It is from Psalm 139. These verses may be relevant but it would maybe be good to read the whole Psalm. It is beautiful:
Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there
The following verse is particularly beautiful and I believe that this Psalm is telling us that there is nowhere we can go where God is not. So even in hell, He is there, and this tells me that He will not abandon us to some terrible torment for ever and ever.
Seems like you do, since that is all you talk about....
Luke 1:1-4
1Many people have set out to write accounts about the events that have been fulfilled among us. 2They used the eyewitness reports circulating among us from the early disciples.a 3Having carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I also have decided to write a careful account for you, most honorable Theophilus, 4so you can be certain of the truth of everything you were taught.
1 John 1-3
1We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning,a whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the Word of life. 2This one who is life itself was revealed to us, and we have seen him. And now we testify and proclaim to you that he is the one who is eternal life. He was with the Father, and then he was revealed to us. 3We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us.
2 Peter 1:16
For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
It says in the Bible that we go to hell for eternity Rowantree. I don't understand why if I don't believe in creation why don't I feel like there is nothing to worry about.
Some Christians believe in evolution. The Bible doesn't say that belief in a creation method other than literal 6 day creation will send you to hell. It's believing in Christ and accepting His gift that counts.
Also, do you realize that you've asked these questions before raven? I mean I'd seriously would like an answer to that, because you ask the same questions on this forum over and over in slightly different ways and everyone always gives you the same answers. Nevertheless, every time we answer you, you shrug them off and start asking again.
The fact of the matter is that none of us are going to one day have an answer that will suddenly pull back the curtains and give you the means to find immediate relief. The advice you've been given is good, it's just hard to follow. Heck, I know it's horrifying. I had this same symptom and I can't say that, if I had been on this forum when it was at its worst, that I'd be able to totally listen to all the advice on here.
But you just need to follow the advice given by us and your therapist without constantly assessing whether or not you'll be damned if you do it. You know that you've been fighting the same thing and asking the same things for years now, and I think it's clear that you haven't made much progress in beating it. You need to look at that empirical evidence and realize that the current process isn't working. Despite how wrong it would feel to not continue your current compulsions, it's clearly not working.
Something needs to change raven, don't you realize that? I mean all this as a non-rhetorical question. (I'd like an answer.)
No no no, you guys don't understand I don't believe anymore and I don't fear hell. I just can't believe.
What do mean logical reasons? I mean it isnt my fault I cant believe in God.
