Seems nothing ever gets settled on this topic of discussion but still someone brings it up over and over again. Maybe agree to disagree? My own personal opinion and I am a novice is that no where in the bible does it say Saturday or Sunday but it does speak generally about a Sabbath day and to honor it. I feel that as long as we keep A Sabbath day holy that would make our Father happy. It does talk about discouraging others in their endeavors, I don't know the verse off hand but I am in agreement. No one has answered my question though. What about people who work on a Saturday or a Sunday, would you have them not go to church at all if they work on your chosen Sabbath day?

Well that has no truth in it. We are saved by GRACE through faith and not of ourselves it is a gift of God *EPHESIANS 2:8. OBEDIENCE to God's LAW is not how we are saved it is the FRUIT of God's work in us as we BELIEVE and FOLLOW his WORD. If our faith has no fruit it is dead *JAMES 2:18-20; 26 and our tree will be cast down and thrown into the fire *MATTHEW 3:10; 7:19-20; 13:49-50. You only incorrectly answered the question; Is a christian who is living in a life of KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN in a SAVED STATE before God or an UNSAVED STATE before God? This question was addressed through the scriptures in post # 451 linked here.

The scriptures do teach however...

PROVERBS 28:9-13 [9], He that turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. [10], Whoever causes the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession. [11], The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that has understanding searches him out. [12], When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden. [13], He that covers his sins shall not prosper: but whoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy.

God is calling us all back to his WORD and those that hear his Voice will follow him *JOHN 12:26.
