So Many of Us

I don't know exactly where to put this so as it is about families I thought it here the best.

Many young people have problems. Some try to kill themselves, others succeed in killing themselves.
One a Muslim girl for not getting the best grades to go to medical school.

Family separations, bring in harsh times for the kids and they pay for it. They are pushed around even into other countries. Then they are told they have learning problems when in reality they simply can't relax and can't concentrate because of stress and fear.

It hurts to hear stories of these young people and that in America and Europe, children are falling through the net.

The worst story told from a Spanish girl who was given to her Marroccan father as a little girl. She was passed on to his aunt and later married off to an older man and transported to the Netherlands. He did not sleep with her, he had some sense, but was then brought home to her aunt.
Then married off again at the age of 16 and this time raped.
She came to England, no contact with her real mother.
Having a Spanish mother could have ment to her a full protection from draconian outdated cultural behaviours. Instead the mother pushed her into this.

And then if you are close to one of these kids and want to tell about God, they don't want to hear about it. They need all the help but they are so angry and so stubborn, nothing works.

[FONT="Verdana","sans-serif"]Our world is becoming very evil, but we must remember that God is still on the throne. He knows absolutely everything that is going on. Prayer is one of the most powerful things on Earth, I think that sometimes we don't even realize or give it enough credit. Praying for someone, for our countries, and for our leaders, is so important.

Most of the time we cannot fix or change someone's problems. A lot of times we cannot understand what someone is going through, but we can always be a friend who is willing to listen and be compassionate and who will just be a light. Even if you don't have the right words to say, just hanging out and being with the person says a lot. Most of the time when we have troubles we are not looking for other people to fix us or fix our problems, we just appreciate and feel secure feeling them beside us even if they don't have any words to say. Just giving from the heart, listening and letting the person know you hear them, and acknowledging their presence... that is a true friend. A true friend is rare gem, as most of the time, we meet only those who like to talk.

I personally understand some of the stories you’ve written about with my own life circumstances. I can only say that God is good. He can heal and He works all things out for good for them who love Him.. I think it is up to US whether we trust Him, and forgive and press forward.. These things come from a relationship with Him, of course.. meditating on the Word regularly. IT is our strength and our weapon against the dark spiritual forces and the devil.

There is a lot of suffering in the world, and it is hard, no question, when we have such a finite view. The thing that brings the most consolation is to know that we KNOW the end of the story, and we know how it is destined to go. And we also KNOW the end of the story, and that our Triune God WINS ! He knows everything that goes on, and He is in control. If you study the different names and attributes of God it will speak to His greatness and His wonderful and awesome character. So keep praying and being a light and trust and forgive those we want to hate. Those who have done the greatest crimes, need the most forgiveness. They are the ones who need the most love.. We are the ONLY ones to be able to give forth this forgiveness to others, because of God's great forgiveness towards us, through his GRACE. [/FONT]

I seem to have lost my editing capabilities (?), but what I wanted to add is that we also need to pray for Hollywood. I have noticed the 2 big movies that have been publicized currently, and are opening today or this weekend in the theatres. One is occultic, and the other glorifies avenging what has been taken away with bloody violence. It is just a deception that these are ' just' movies. They play a part and influence the minds of today's young people.. all people. It's no different than pornography. Look at the news of what is happening today. We really need to wake up and stop glorifying these actors, and weep and pray for their souls. "Father forgive them, for they do not know what they do."
