i have become lost in my own life. My addiction to pain is now out of control
ever since i lost my job on Christmas Eve..i can't control my crying anymore...at random times, i will burst into tears. i stopped talking basically. I didn't go to church on New Years because i am too afraid to show anyone my scars and fresh ones. I don't know what to do anymore....

hello sweet daughter of God! you probly don't feel the impact of this... but you will. sometimes in our lives, we need to be this needy before we can start over new. it's because we are out of control on our own. all of us. we need balance and disapline, and love and joy. God created lots of wonderful things for us, but some of us... we can't seem to find them the easy way. we need to exsperiance the wrong things before we listen and understand why and what the best (God's will) things are. so becoming needy allows God to build us back up with a new wisdom of what kind of paths we seek.

And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Acts 2:21

I've said this over and over again on this board... Give it to Jesus. Let go of it. The struggle isn't letting go, it's holding onto it while Jesus is on the other ende trying to take it away. He will win eventually. You get to decide when.

Good thing your life is not your own... When you give your life to Jesus, he trades it for his glory and love and everything else that is so wonderful about Him.
