It bothers me only because others have mentioned that it bothered them, some enough so that they left. There are only a dozen or so regular posters, plus the two or three trolls who keep getting banned and coming back with new names (Hi AS!). I figure for united should seriously consider the criticism they're given. Michie will do what Michie will do, she has demonstrated over the years that she is incapable of change. She is AMDG, she is WA, she is Fantine, she is TLF. She has become a charicature of herself. This is the 5th or 6th time she's pretended to ask for suggestions and criticism, only to react with deflections and state her intent to continue as she always has. It's the same discussion, every year....only with less people here to observe it as the years go on. I rely don't care, but I'd like to see a place for seekers or new Catholics to come without having to sift through garbage from so-and-so's blog or Lifesite, CNA, CA, etc. There are a handful of posters here who seemingly exist only to correct false statements and poor logic that others spam the board with, and that shouldn't be. To be honest, it's embarrassing.

The only reason things have not changed because is of you & others refusal to get together & hash things out. I've asked repeatedly in MSC. You can point the finger at others all you want & predict outcomes like you are some kind of oracle. But it speaks more of your character than those that you predictably insist on berating every chance you get.

Charitable people act otherwise when people make an effort. You are either in need of a target & fear losing one or you are just a person that likes to dictate even when things are obviously swinging your way.

We've all heard this before. I think the true test is seeing your reaction to all of this. You are coming across as actually being disappointed if you do turn out to be wrong. What will you do then?

You don't have much faith. Regardless of how the poll turns out I'm not going to go beyond the 5&5. And I don't think I'll come close to it. As far as your other comments. I'm not spoiling for a fight with you. But I do think you are to blame for a lot of bad feelings that could had been easily fixed if it were not for your stubbornness & fatalistic attitude when it comes to other people. I think that has been displayed nicely by you in this thread.

I'll tell you what, I'll work on me & you work on you. It's easier than trying to point out faults in others & mold them to your liking.

So why don't you enjoy your Easter & we'll see what happens & pray for the best for all concerned.

As far as your question as to whether nefarious stuff is still going on behind the scenes, I don't know. Michie's spam seems random as best I can tell, and more often than not I don't think she reads the articles she links to. On the other hand, she hinted that there are back door shenanigans going on, so I hope she'll bring that into the light. I don't know of or suspect any conspiracies.

Yeah, it's been said before. Then of course it turns into a Michie thread as it always does when there is a OBOB complaint so I took the opportunity to try to correct things that have been needing corrected for so long.
