a business, a franchise, if most of customers are turned off by straight or gay behavior.... wouldn't you discourage what is running business away from your store, which provides a means to pay bills and take care of your kids...

who are glad, actup to say nationwide ... alll stores in this franchise should be picketed / targeted .... isn't that the same as saying alll gays, all lesbians....etc...

Similar, yes. I dont agree with people saying that Chic-Fil-A hates anybody or that anyone going in there hates anyone AND I know this happens. I have had people mad at me in the LGBT community because I called them on saying Chic-Fil-A hates. However, I do support telling people where the money they spend in Chic-Fil-A goes and letting that customer decide if they want to spend their money there or not.

As I may have said earlier itt, it's all academic for me: the nearest CFA is some 500 miles away. But in my area, we do have Ezell Stephen's Heaven Sent, which is awesome chicken. And Ezell is a Christian, though I've never heard of him taking any political stance... and that totally works for me. It's all about the chicken, and politics doesn't improve it at all.

I have no ill-feel towards people that spend there money at CFA, but I refuse to personally. Nor will I accept it if I know someone paid for it and offers it to me. I simply will not take part, at any level, in a business that supports the continued removal and denial of rights that directly affect me and many of my loved ones.

I only had Chik Fil A once & I thought it was nasty. I'll take Zaxby's anyday, as far as food quality is concerned!

I've been shaking my head at this whole thing. My FB timeline exploded with conservative friends' fuzzy pictures of themselves waiting in obscene lines to eat nasty chicken... I just don't get that. I understand people being offended by Dan Cathy's statements and the organizations CFA supports. CFA chose to go public with their religious and political views, so they deserve whatever backlash they get IMO. I never wanted to know their political views. It's a fast food restaurant for crying out loud. I don't care what the president of McDonald's believes either.

I don't understand the blatant "Haha, now we're going to support CFA EVEN MORE!" attitude among so many of my friends... Eating fast food "for Jesus"? Really? No matter that those hundreds of pictures were like a giant middle finger to all the gay friends and family members looking on. As if they don't get enough grief on a daily basis, just for being who they are.

Me too. I like red meat, but because of all this hatred, I went there on the big day.... and I loved it. Food's good, and the service is far superior to any fast food (except Hardee's) that I've been to. Our local Hardee's employs some really neat people.

Have to admit, CFA has THE BEST service of any fast food joint around me. I don't eat there (for more than one reason), but they are exceedingly nice when I go in with my packed lunch when I work in Atlanta with a couple of employers. Frankly, I think that they are so nice even when I am not buying their food is even more awesome.
