Snowboarding?!?!

Anyone here snowboard? I love it! It is my life in the winter. So yeah if you snowboard tell me where and what your set-up is,
I ride at Camp Fortune (in Quebec)
My snowboard is a Rossignol Butane
My Bindings are Option Team bindings
My boots are Ride team boots

Camp Fortune eh? We must live in the same area.

I don't snowboard, but I freestyle ski. Got twin tips last year. Unfortunately, I haven't been out this year yet mainly because of the bad weather this winter and my schedule. But in the past I'd mainly ski at Mt. Ste Marie or Eldelweis. Used to like Tremblant until they started developing about half the mountain. Now it's just overcrowded.

Yeah, i love Mont.St.Marie, i go there as much as possible, Tremblant is fun, but way to over crowded. Twin tips are so sick, i am thinking abotu getting a pair. and give up snowboarding. not sure yet though.

I've only seen twin-tips..but I think I'll stick to boarding for now.
Man, this season has been /so/ bad...sheesh.

I love snowbording, but for the most part I dont get a chance to go. I have so much stuff on my plate with the fire dept right now. I juggle 2 departments as well as working full time with Budweiser. Plus I go to school 3 night out of the week.

BUT THERE IS ALWAYS TIME!

ahh fresh powder, that would be nice, the only powder i see while snowboarding is when i go into the woods, and when i go down closed trails.lol. ugg i hate eastern Canada. but when u live here, u get reallly good at riding on ice.

Yeah that seems to be the problem with me now, i used to be able to go whenver i wanted.. now there is always something getting in te way,lol. ohh well, life will go on without snowboarding I guess.

If u Skate and surf, i am sure you would love snowboarding.i live in the country, so i cant skate, and i live like 14 hours away from the ocean so i cant surf.. so i cant do either of thos, but i would love to try surfing... but snowboarding is amazing! u should definatly try it out next winter!

Good Luck Jess! One piece of advice: Don't give up after the first time you try. The first day is always the worst and by the end of the day you will be in pain. (I had a hard time walking up stairs for a good three days)
That's what seperates us boarders from the skiiers. If you can try snowboarding for the first time, and at the end of the day be bruised, in pain and sore..and still say that you love it, and want to go again. You're a snowboarder. If you can't..then, you're not.
