It's Snopes. Not a reliable source.
I always thought they were, until today. Now, I dunno.

Also, it has a disclaimer at the beginning, saying that it “doesn’t represent the work of Snopes fact checkers or editors.”
So, Snopes is a site for fact checking but they apparently didn’t check their own story.

Is Creationism a conspiracy theory? Why or Why not?

No. Creation is a theory of origins of everything that comes from a reading of Genesis, the early chapters. Now I don't know what to think really but I do believe that those who believe in Young Earth Creation are not really understanding the culture that the book was written in, they are well meaning though. I do believe in Creation and Adam and Eve but I no longer have a position other than that

I don’t think the Earth is 6000 years old and my pastor, as well as the pastor he consulted about this (primarily to bring me peace on this issue) is fine with that.

Why Creationism Bears All the Hallmarks of a Conspiracy Theory | Snopes.com

I probably should stop looking at the Answers In Genesis site. They rant on about this article, above. And rant so much that I don’t even know what to think. I tried to fact check Snopes and all I keep getting is this article. Is Creationism a conspiracy theory? Why or Why not?

I would stop reading articles and simply read the Bible.

Does not surprise me that people are trying to paint Gods word as a Conspiracy Theory. We know the world will go further and further into sin until it was as in the days of Noah, and that good will be called evil and evil will be called good.

Isaiah 5:20
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.
