Hello all!
Did anyone watch it? They almost called Kara Supergirl and Clark almost flew. On a clip for next week I think I saw the word Superman on a newspaper. Do you think Clark will turn into Superman before the last show?

I believe the finale is going to be between Darkseid and Clark, and he doesn't meet Darkseid in any of the comics or cartoons until he's Superman. So yes, he'll be flying and have the suit by the time he meets him. I hope it's allot better than the battle with Doomsday.

I agree, the Doomsday battle wasn't great. It seemed like the writers didn't know what they were going to do next with him sometimes. They're really moving the story towards making him Superman now, so I won't be surprised if that happens just before or during the series finale.
I really enjoyed this past episode. A few reminders of the past (but without becoming just a "rehash old footage show"), some things finally worked out about holding on to the past and doubt, some romance, a glimpse at the future, and Brainiac as a good guy. Very entertaining.

The geek in me got excited, when Clark saw his future status as Superman. That, and Lois knew his secret and did what she had to in order to protect it(even knocked the chopper pilot out). I'm glad Smallville is moving towards the Red and Blue suit being worn(hopefully) and Clark taking flight as Superman before the season finale, so we can see him take on Darkseid as Superman.

I was just watching the series finale again yesterday and wanted to comment.
This was something I said before the series finished:
Lookie there, I was right!
Overall I really liked the finale. Bringing Rosenbaum back was essential. LOVED that! And I liked what they did with him and with the rest of the characters. Though I felt the the Connor storyline was a basically abandoned, unfortunately. And really it would have been great to have Lana and Pete back. Also, the graphics for the final Superman costume were a bit hokey. But otherwise, the story lines were tied up very nicely. The comic book reading from Chloe to her son was a nice touch.
For the most part, it was a solid ending.
