'Small' tsunami detected after 8.7 quake

(CNN) -- A tidal gauge has detected a small tsunami in the Indian Ocean several hundred miles southwest of the earthquake that struck off the coast of Indonesia on Monday.

Amen. And the same here as well. An 8.7 magnititude earth quake is really a monster. Prayers going out for them.

Yeah I understand that but they do need to rebuild. There's no since in living in constant fear of another earthquake. I mean, they need to try to get on with their lives. Of course, they shouldn't ignore the possibility of future earthquakes but they do need to try to rebuild and get on with their lives rather than dwelling on it. Aren't earthquakes a sign of the end times?
