  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Pugs are my favorites...it's pretty darn near impossible to be in a bad mood around one! :) I also like Bichon Frises (curly white dogs), and shih tzus. I DO have speak against Jack Russells, though....the ones I've known have all been great with people, for the most part, but very aggressive with other dogs and not prone to a lot of lap-sitting. Pugs, even, can be a little bit more energetic than the other breeds I mentioned. Bichons probably do the most lap-sitting. I work at a doggie daycare and boarding place, and not long ago we had about 6 of them in to stay with us for awhile. EVery time I'd go back to sit on the couches with the dogs, I'd end up with a lapful of fluffy white dogs. :)

. If you're going to get a dog I'd suggest a lhasa apso. None have ever been reported with bad behaviour. They are small with no hereditary health issues. They look like mini english sheepdogs, but I groom mine to keep the hair shorter. Don't feel daunted by a long coat because electric clippers cost $150 and you can keep it as short as you like. My friend even has one in a retirement village - she got permission because Lhasa's are so kind & quiet unless intruders tru to break in. Your visitors will be welcomed with kisses!

Of course, I'm biased!
