CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Vermillion Pt 2 is probably the best song they've ever done.
Tattered and Torn is one of the scariest songs I've ever heard, right after Climbing up the Walls.
In order of goodness:
Vol 3 > Slipknot > Iowa

I hate to be this harsh, but musically..slipknot is a waiste of air....honestly...
Sure, they have done a good job marketing themselves, but that is basically it. Everything they do is basically a big Marketing stunt. Its so fake...especially considering the type of music they play...Really bad, but they compensate by playing it really loud.
I dont mind metal at all...but this is not metal. REAL Metal is one of the most complicated musical genres....slipknot is unoriginal at best, a horrible crime against music.
They are 7 people (or something), and the music they play could be played by 3....the rest of them is just there to appeal to the teenage crowd. i am ashamed to say that I went to one of their shows with a friend of mine, and it seems that the largest part of their fans are young teenagers who think saying....... is cool.

To me, they are somewhat the same as Marilyn Manson. Really good at marketing themselves.....but really bad at making music (Marilyn in the later years....I have heard a rumour that once he was actually good at making music....its still unconfirmed though)
