So, now that most of you have been playing the game for a while, you've probably seen some pretty cool random stuff that the rest of us haven't. What kind of random events have happened to you that amazed you?

At one point, I was wandering with my companion through a snowy forest. A lady run up to me wearing tattered clothes, screaming for my help. She entered conversation and said something like "Help! They're after me!" Before I could select an option for response, she exited conversation as the bandits chasing her approached. I killed them, but by then she had disappeared.

I still wonder what would have happened if I was able to continue conversation with her.

I have had a woman run up to me in the woods before and she said bandits captured her and stuff, and said she just escaped and told me to take care of them or something like that and then marked the location on my map of where their at then asked which way the nearest town was because she's lost. Haven't done the quest yet.

You know what's awesome? Hearing a bunch of commotion in the distance, and seeing a couple giants and mammoths freak out on something. When you get a littler closer and they've calmed down, you find the ground littered with the bodies of bandits.

So awesome.

Chapter Five of Homecoming is FINALLY done. It took me a while because I couldn't remember all of the details of the Bleak Falls Barrow quest, and had to go online to get a recap. If there are any continuity errors or other things that could be fixed, please let me know through a reply in this thread, or a blog comment.

Also, chapter two received some revision for continuity; I just edited the paragraph that involved frostbite spiders, so that the way the character is behaving in Bleak Falls Barrow makes more sense.

I've had the same encounter NR90 described but also haven't done the quest yet.

I've also had one a few times (usually near the Shadow Standing Stone) where a guy will come up to me and ask me to hold something for him, and then a couple minutes later another one will come up and ask if I've seen him, the first guy having stolen what I'm holding from the second guy.

got that today thers the women the hunters bit by vampires the fugitive who hands you stuff and then a hunter comes and ascks you about it

they seem to happen agin and agin at least ntill you do it to completion

the dam hunter today was trying to tack while a bear was atacking him so i los tout on that conversation

iv got the playstation vershion and my save file for my levil 51 charackter is at 13 MB

but i hear the patch takes away your elementel restinces

I haven't updated on the Playstation yet, but none of my XBox games seem to be affected... I think my husband's XBox game has gotten a tiny bit glitchy since updating but nothing serious. I've been playing on the XBox for the last week or so because I'm afraid to go back to my 14MB game on the PS3 that I've spent about 60-70 hours on lol


eta: I was wrong... my current XBox game may have been a teeny bit affected... I came back to one dragon I had killed a few days later to find it had regrown its skin, etc. and its leg was shaking like a dog's does like when it's getting its belly scratched lol Absolutely hilarious!

never could get my playstion to show hd even sony custimer service was baffled going to have to try and retun it its bin a month since i got it more or less

even if they do let me exchange it ther goes my 2 charikters

i guess its not such a big del but it sucks a wee bit

well *that* was different... I had a twist on the scenario I described above with the guy giving me stolen goods...

This time I was talking to the girl at the beginning of the bridge to the College of Winterhold and some thief reverse pickpocketed me (ie he put a dagger in my pocket) and then the usual "no time to talk, if you snitch or doublecross me, I'll kill you" routine. I'm waiting to see who's going to claim it, since this time there is absolutely no temptation to keep it lol It's glass and I've got ebony weapons that do 3 times as much damage as that lol

So many dragons! I've killed a ton lately, but the game isn't acknowledging the souls I've absorbed. I can't seem to unlock some of my shouts.

Anybody else having this problem after the last update?

Nope, sorry. I still have yet to play the game even though it's installed on my computer. Good thing is I only have about another month, maybe 1 1/2 months to wait... lol.

I think I may have figured it out... I think I'm supposed to press square to unlock new shouts once I have souls, not X. I must have just forgotten.

Of course I can't verify this right now, as I'm not at home. Lame.

yeah that's what's wrong... took me forever to figure that out when I was playing on the PS3


I'm being stalked by an ancient dragon... it's very very annoying lol I actually hid out in the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary for an entire day to shake him off so I could fast travel back home. And then he found me again later LOL I refuse to travel alone anymore because I can't fight ancient dragons by myself, but it's bad because I'm a thief and assassin so going solo is essential for both trades

iv avoided random draogns by not geitng the dragon stone im worcking on a waroer but wiht no ofensive percks got block hevy armer smithing and lastly im going to max enchanting to hopeflly give me punch i need and some elemtel defense

i supose when i max smithing i should get drgon stone so i can make dragon armer

any one know if ther are dragon wepons you can smith?

if you kill the bucher in windhelm i thinck it is you get to use a big abndoned house for free

the bed gives you well rested to boot im hopeing sotrage is permanent
