Sky Angel

I posted this in the Christian Review forum, but nobody ever responded. So, I thought I'd try my people here in Baptist/Anabaptist.

Does anyone have any experiences with Sky Angel? We have become really disappointed in our cable/sat tv programming and have known about Sky Angel for awhile. I guess we're afraid to take the plunge. Not sure, if it is going to be all TV Church or is there other programming? We do know they are supposed to have an excellent kids programming channel.

So, any thoughts, comments, experiences would be great.

I havent had skyangel personally...but, I have seen alot of people on here give it good reviews. If you go to skyangel.com they can send you out a vhs of their programing..my husband and I received one..as we may make that step to skyangel oursleves since we have a baby on the way and find programming today no so great for children and we dont want to have to constantly wonder if our parental controls are working. I hear that skyangel is pretty cheap too like 15.95 and you get alot of channels.

Yeah, we've received the VHS promo and liked what it said. When we went to the website it seemed like the channels were all either music channels or church TV channels. Which is fine, but I want some regular viewing programming as well. Christian entertainment probably hasn't come that far yet as to have regular tv programming.

You could always get Skyangel in addition to a basic cable package. That way you have a variety of the normal entertainment that you're used to, and Christian entertainment.
