Skulls/Crossbones and Pics of Death -- why r christians against those images?

My Lord is the risen Lord Jesus Christ and he is not the god of death.

Now holloween whatever... it's for each one to decide I think, but the roots of the practice are deeply pagan.

Anyways. Scull and cross is associated with death, poison etc. You brothers and sisters object to this because they believe it's not a healthy way for a young Christian to be thinking despite the season.

Often the scull and cross will carry a number reference under it, which are associated with a biblical ref. 322. Which tells that man has become like God. After the whole incident with the fall.

It's just a big occult thing and all lot of Christians know about these things and it gets them upset when you flash them in there face.

I am, of course, referencing your verse 15. By the rule, those four bolded words can be moved to make any different combination and say the same thing because the value of "and" makes them ALL have to be true in order for the entire statement to be true.

Thus, saying "life and evil and good and death" is of the same value as "life and good and evil and death".

The position of the words doesn't change their value; we're not talking about "if" statements.

can't say I have ever seen a number under skull & crossbones. I have seen plenty in my life. Which biblical reference are you talking about? 322 could mean so many different things and certainly many things totally unrelated to this topic. Vague connections where you have to make assumptions is just dodgy teaching and looking for a reason to condemn something. It is not based on facts.

so your insistence on the word 'and' making all the difference is not building a doctrine based on one word. Interesting definition you have there. Especially when you look at various versions and read it carefully and you see that p and q can be interchanged with each other and only r and t can be interchanged with each other. P and Q must always be together and R and T must always be together.
