No, i'm not from Kyrgisztan, i'm from Northern Ireland, but i like to see who'll catch on, as well as that i don't normally mention where i'm from, i usually falseify it to see what happens.

Re-enacting is cool, but thats not what skirmishing is, you might say its a brother sport but not that close to re-enactment.

Skirmishing is a sport that originated in Japan in the early 1980's, it has since become one of the biggest Japanese sports with hundreds of people skirmishing every day, it is a big sport in the US and less popular in Europe, in Northern Ireland there are only 5-6 teams.

The sport is similar to paintballing, except you use 1/1 scale replicas of real firearms, such as an M16 or an AK, they fire 6mm plastic BB's at rates of 328fps down to 250fps depending on the model. You can get AEG's (Automatic Electric Guns) that fire full automatic at anywhere between 600 and 1000 rpm and you can get cheaper models that need to be cycled before each shot is taken. Type the word into a search engine if you're unsure.

To the person that said 'i like to skirmish', what model AEG do you have, do you belong to a team?

My friends and I have messed around with the guns your talking about, man do those things sting like heck. But I have always prefered to shoot the real things. In addition to my collection of hunting rifles and shotguns I have one of these to light targets up with: http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/_images/_YugoslavianSKS.jpg It's a yugoslavian sks, a semi-automatic rifle that is cheap as **** to shoot and loads of fun. I like it for teaching my friends to shoot because it is so incredibly inexpensive to shoot.
