  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Anyone here watch Skins?
Well, its an British teen drama...

Skins revolves around the lives of a group of 16–18 year-old friends who live in Bristol. The Dawson Brothers claim the series represents the everyday lives of adolescents. The group includes a popular boy, his girlfriend and best friend, a Muslim boy, a gay character, a girl with eating disorder, an intelligent and privileged girl with family problems, and a party animal in love with his teacher. These characters attend the fictional Roundview Sixth Form College in Bristol. Each installment has a self-contained theme focusing on each different character respectively, but there are several story arcs that span different episodes.

I looovee the second series of Skins. Much better than the first because i didn't really get into it that much...but this series I'm loving!! I'm actually hating Cassie at this point coz she's obsessive and weird. Tony's a bit annoying this series as his doesn't do that much within the story lines (understandibly as he was hit by a bus) but his character does nothing for me at the moment. I was searching this Forum for some English TV shows hehe...thanx...but obviously the majority of what I watch and love is American shows. Just Eastenders and Skins that are the English shows that I watch...the rest are American (and better hehe - my opinion)

Love DaisyRose :pink:
