My dad has a can opener on his key ring that was issued to him in the Army almost 40 yrs ago. It's just a curved, pointed piece of metal.
give bear hugssorry, i guess that's a "in touch with your feelings" thing, but guys give the best bear hugs; when done properly. There's an art to it

When i lived in the woods working corrections, we got stuck without a can opener and a bunch of cans to open. I just drove a small knife through the top of the can and removed the top. I also like the small military can openers.

Change a wet and/or dirty diaper.
Honestly, that is only a Hollywood stereotype. All married men do not mind changing the diapers of their children.
It's only other people's babies we don't want to touch.
Nothing wrong with changing diapers. Heck, I don't even mind changing my own.How is it a stereotype? He asked what skills a man needs...
Every man, single or married, should know how to change a diaper. And men should be willing to change the diapers of same sex family members, at the least, IMO.

Good stuff, Ink.
I think all guys should know:
How to properly handle and use a firearm
How to use basic tools: hammer, wrenches, saw, etc...
How to set up a tent.
Basic knot tying skills.
