Your old Blog --> http://christianforums.com/showthread.php?t=6327915Adrian, I need a link to my old blog entries, please. Thanks!

Ok..question..again..
Why, as a Site Supporter, would I be limited (or anyone for that matter) to 5 smilies in a blog entry? Also, why is our text limited to 10,000 characters in one blog entry?
The old CF allowed us to have the 10k plus characters. It is one of my old blog entries, and will not allow me to post it in my new blog. The Smiles, I'm betting are a permission error (Bug report would probabbly get that fixed)
the 10K Character Limit I'd bet has more to do with the Database Format / Limitation of the Forum Software Itself.
(I.E. No one can have a post with more than 10K characters)
The old CF allowed us to have the 10k plus characters. It is one of my old blog entries, and will not allow me to post it in my new blog.![]()
Well, hmm, do I report it (both of them) as bugs? You posted while I was editing my post
It appears to be a setting issue also
If there storing it as a CHAR in the database the maximum value would be around 64K characters in a single post (including HTML formatting codes)
Well, hmm, do I report it (both of them) as bugs?
That would probabbly be the best way to get the bugs traceable & fixable.
If you just send a PM or post in this thread, it might get missed amongst all the other postings.

'bug' entries made.![]()
Now just to see how long tell they modify it
(If I had an extra $180 I'd install it on my servers to figure it out for ya![]()

Re Visitor Messages.
Nice that we can delete them (though I doubt I'll ever use it other than the test I just did)
But....
When deleting a posting, we see the soft delete box, and reason for deletion.
It states that it will PM the reason to the poster, but when I just tested it with a sock, the sock never got the PM that there posting was deleted.
A Visitor Message on my page put there by my sock
(I put a Visitor message on your page, so you can delete it if you want)
Just check the box to the right of the message, and on the bottom of the page there is an option to then delete the checked post / posts
