Singles Night Out

Our church has just bought a bowling ally to run our fellowship out of, and one of the ideas to help build the business up is to run a singles night for the single Christians here in Toronto. Does anyone have any good ideas on what we could do with the singles on these nights? That is, on top of bowling!

I love the name Eprom. I'm currently in the market for some eeprom chips for a game I'm working on. I think I'm going to use Microchip's 16x8 I2C model... as if anyone cares

Let's see... bowling is a good start. I'm not a very socially active person, so other than volleyball and an occational game night (Catch Phrase is the usual game of choice) I don't have too many ideas. I'm trying to develop an advanced retail directed laser tag game with a few other people for groups like this (hence the need for eeprom chips) but so far we're still in the R&D phase. Arrg, don't get me started. Until then, other brands of laser tag might be good.

Ghetto Bowling!

LOL I've never heard it called "ghetto bowling" before. Down here in Atlanta, we call is Cosmic Bowling. It's alot of fun. I actually bowl a better game when there's strobe lights and stage smoke. *shrugs* I think it would be great to have a Bible study.

Well, we have cosmic bowling too, but Ghetto Bowling got its name for going to a bowling alley in the ghetto that let us do pretty much anything, wheras other bowling alleys would have kicked us out. And of course, since we were Christians, we kept it clean. I don't think anyone got crazier than we did.

Well, I've heard of electrical engineering departments having "eproms," where they have a dance sort of thing as a parody for the nerdy type. But it normally stands for "erasable programable read only memory." Not really something I'd expect the general population to know.
