CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

If I make a christmas match special and match everyone with someone they will have to take to a Christmas date, are you okay with that Vanilla? I think going for just one Christmas date could be a good way to say goodbyes to such things before becoming a nun, don't you think?

For some folks it does. For me, that desire has diminished greatly. Far too comfortable being single.

I'm going to indirectly quote Miss Iyanla on this one- I'm complete and happy on my own... but I NEED a man! My feminine heart longs for masculinity to hold it.
But I've always had a heart for marriage.

I like that saying.
And I don't disagree with that. Perhaps I'll feel differently again in the future. Of course it's always when you're comfortable with singleness that someone comes along and shakes things up.

I know I celebrated.The old, "the other side of the coin"
27 no kids, no wife or ex wife....
I was the only one in my family to have made it that long without kids and exs.
Everyone else in my tree had at least one kid before 27 and at least an ex.
Now Im thinking. I aint likely to have kids..... cause Im getting older.... I still have to get to know a woman be comfortable with her raising my kids (with me of course), want to marry her etc..... 5 years Ill be 40 so... I better find her soon if the whole kids thing is gonna happen.
Sure I can have healthy kids into my 40s, but the question is. Will I have the energy to raise them?
