  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My dad told once guy that was intent on dating my sister (and had a bad reputation) that IF my sister lowered her standards to go out with him, then my dad was going to tie a certain body part in a knot before they left on the date. Needless to say, the guy never did ask my sister out. :p

Well the flirting thread is peaceful, but the single's forum just give it a minute and people will be killing eachother over beliefs.

Its not really that bad or anything but we have our disagreements on here so don't let them shock you when they do happen.

I think we tend to RESPECTFULLY DISAGREE. Wouldnt you say?

Now, there are some characters that have been showing up lately and I get a bad vibe from them! :scratch:

Time will tell if their fangs and claws eventually come out or not.

I finally have a picture on my profile page!!!! I am so happy. A co-worker of mine was able to do it for me.
It is a picture of my sister-Mary, ME-IN THE MIDDLE--& my brother Chris. The picture was taken in Jan. of '04.
I've been trying & trying to get one over there!!
