In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Laura hasn't been there for the last two weeks.
I'm guessing its because she's had to work. Her best friend is there and she always goes with her.

wow really? sadly I never went to any school dances. But I went to church dances which were fun enough. And I couldn't dance, I tried to dance haha.

the only memories I have of middle school dances were the guys sitting on one side all watching a kid play his game boy while the girls were all dressed up on the other huddled in circles talking to each other...
The dance floor was nearly always empty till that one brave soul finally walked over to a girl to see if she wanted to dance...
Of course my method of walking by the girl I liked on the way to the buffet table never seemed to catch on as I never actually got the nerve to talk to her... but oh well.
Good albeit awkward times.

Our dances weren't too bad. It was only when they played a slow song that you could see tumbleweeds going across the dance floor.
LOL Yeah and if they did dance they would be standing as far away from eachother as possible.
