CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, actually, it had more to do with waking up in the middle of the night and being unable to get back to sleep!
As for diabetes, many in my family just didn't feel a thing injecting insulin after a while, every area they could inject it in was pretty much hardened.
In the meantime, the genetic factors are so strong in my family that diabetes has hit pretty much everyone. I hope I'm not too late. I really need to make these lifestyle changes (lose a whole lot of weight!) and make them stick.
As for brittle diabetics and low blood sugar episodes, that happened to my mother once at a slightly inopportune time. She ended up wandering off in search of sugar at an end of school year picnic for the preschoolers and we couldn't find her for hours. (Lesson learned: year-old babies are heavy!)

O.K. I am disgusted, angry, and genarally ready to chop somebodies head off.
I have the TV on for noise turned to the Biography Channel, with "Mysteryies of the Bible" on. Know I dont get my theology from TV but I think there probably are lot out there that do.
I didn't - repeat didn't miss hear this: "Satan didn't do anything to Job; God raised his hand." This from some sort of preacher.
Somebodies personal testimony - "I hope that I am going to Heaven so I can have an affair with my husband or somebody else." Person on the street.

Well apparantly this "preacher" has never read the book of Job or at least the one I've read.
Job 1:12 The LORD said to Satan, "Very well, then, everything he has is in your hands, but on the man himself do not lay a finger."
And as for that woman she hasn't either.

The sad thing is that people truly do get there theology from the tv or whatever and never sit down and read the bible.
