CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yeah. How many time in our life times have things been tossed out. Many of us have tossed stuff out that would be looked upon as a treasure in another country. Some of us have tossed out dishes,books, and other goodies only to be wishing you did not do it. We even toss friendships because things went bad. But we wish that person was back. Look at what mankind has tossed out the pearl of great value. Mankind has said that God matters not. Yet in the end God matters most. What are you trusting? What are you tossing?

No you didn't miss out on anything really. All of us need friends on a board this big and where people can be not so nice. It's kinda like a family in here, especially for some of us who might not have a great one or any at all, and we need to remember to stick together when times get rough for one or the other of us. I'm really glad that you have joined in.
