  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Well yeah there are nerdy hillbillys. Here I am!!!!!

The barefoot good ole boy with the pickup and the T189 sounds mighty familiar. Might have met one at one time. Might even have been around the cafe.:p

Did you make sure to eat it on toast with lots of butter, kelco?

Yeah I did and it still wasn't something I would try again. I'll just stick to orange marmalade.

Morning cait! How are you this morning?

Morning, girl friend

I am crawling back into bed.
I overdid it back in the office yesterday.
I ache from head (stiff neck) to feet (swollen so hurt to walk).

:)

Totally different subject.
Is someone recovering from a hang over still considered drunk?
I was writing up a narrative on my life with arthritis.
In 9th grade my dad and I were hit head on by someone "drunk".
The dude was speeding to work (because late) after have drunk the night before and early morning.
Considered DRUNK or not, in the context given?

Well there still could have been alcohol in his system. It just depends on the time of his last drink and how fast his body metabolizes the alcohol. So yes it is entirely possible for him to still be drunk and have a hang over at the same time. Mind you I am not speaking from experience....;)

Yep he could still be drunk. depends on the amt of alcohol in his blood stream. I believe in Mi. its anything above .08 BAC to be considered legally drunk. Not to sure though having never consume that much. I usually know when to stop. You need to do a search (google) to find out what DUI is for your home state.
