If you've noticed, many people, Christians included, go through life thinking that there's a one special person for them.

If you haven't noticed, not everybody who claims to be Christian is actually a Christian. There's more to it than just praying from time to time and declaring yourself to be one on your census every five years. For the true Christians, God will guide you to where he wants you to be--and if he truly has someone special set aside for you, then he will guide you to them as well.

Trust me. I know what I'm talking about.

Honestly you really have no legit absolution that you have some 'special' person set out for you unless God specifically told you that that was to come. Lots of Christians, true Christians, are unmarried and remained so for probably their entire lives and couldn't be happier (points to hendrick). God really doesn't guarantee you things like marriage, wealth and so forth.

I agree, God has a plan for you... and that may or may not include a wife.
But, if you pray He will guide you to the person He made for you but also pray that His will be done... yes that person you marry I would say is best for you.
I'm also not sure that God "makes people for us". He may have made someone that you are very compatible with but God made people for Him.

I don't know if I really have proof, but God can possibly lead you to a wife if you ask.
