Introverted is not the same thing as being a hermit. It just means even when we are surrounded by people we tend to keep to ourselves.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

That's good that you're happy to be single; I have friends who are desperate, and friends who are content with being single, and it's usually the ones who aren't looking for a relationship that find the most amazing one!

.I've dated a lot of non-Christians, and I'll be honest in saying there is nothing to me more attractive than seeing someone completely on fire for God. I'm pretty certain you're right there - the ones you'll go out to find will never be up to your "potential", but if you're not looking and someone comes along, they're perfect because you weren't looking for anything in particular.... does that make sense?

It does make sense indeed! And that's exactly what happened! I thought I'd never get married, until God put this amazing guy in my life, who is extremely on fire for God; the only guy I've ever liked! And when I knew he felt the same way, it was just phenomenal!! We're not together...yet, but be will; he's the only one I could ever spend my life with!!

not to sound. . crude, here. . . but do you guys honestly think that God has a 'special' person set aside specifically for you?? I think that is sort of unrealistic and only happens in movies. If you've noticed, many people, Christians included, go through life thinking that there's a one special person for them. They either end up never finding that one or they find someone who they think is the one and they end up divorcing after a while. . . also if you've noticed divorce rates have been climbing up for a while now, Christian and non-Christian marriages.
