• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I just read one of the intro threads and it struck me like an AA meeting. Maybe we need a 12-step program for singleness.

me: Hi, my name is flnativegrl and I'm single.
everyone: Hi flnativegrl!

Am I onto something here?? :tutu: :help:

Singles Anonymous 12-Step program for rehabilitation:

Step 1 - admitting your singleness
Step 2 - walk away from the computer and go out where real people are! ^_^

Step 3 - Establish a social calendar
Step 4 - learn to share!

Step 5 - Relocate, if necessary, to find intelligent life

How many of us would be here, if we knew the 12 steps?

Umm...yeah...we need to CREATE the 12-steps! Geesh...do I have to do everything for you people?? :p Once we know all 12 steps, we can blow this popstand!

Step 1 - Admitting your singleness

I'm pretty sure we've all got that one covered, eh?

I don't necessarily want a date right now, I'd just settle for the actual TIME to have a date. Even if that time was spent sleeping in my recliner, it would be much cherished.

Coach
Uhmmm but your date might get kind of bored watching you sleep...:D

This brings up a good point. We need sponsors to hold us accountable to actively try to end our singleness.

Coah - you won't have any excuses once football season is over!

Or she would have some fun with him...paint his nails, draw on his face with permanent marker... hehe
Lol !

But I'd be using it as an opportunity to have some Playstation/Xbox time without thos pesky boys telling where to go and what to do and eventually getting so fustrated with my 'lack of competiveness' finally snatching the controller away from me !
