Single male here

23 yr old 6 foot 3, 300 + lb weightlifter whos single...any takers, women only of course...lol
but in all honesty, i am single, and it can be stressful sometimes, seeing all the happy couples...but you know what I realized, God has a plan for us all...and being single has given me opprotunities to do things without worrying about being tied down, and plus it gives me more time to spend with my family, like my beloved mom and my wonderful stepdad...so i guess before we get stressed about being single we should count our blessings eh?

but your right God does have a plan for us all and there are good points to being single.

Few years back, I didn't want to wait for the right guy to come because I'm just so worried that I will not get married as I want to be married to a special someone. So, I jumped into relationships with the wrong guy which gave me more troubles instead of happiness and the sufferring that I have to endure is just far too painful to bear.

Now, I'm still single and most of all, available but like all the rest of you guys out there, I'm also finding it difficult especially when you start seeing happy couples walking pass your sight. What more when you start to receive news about couples whom are going to get married, new couples appearing now and then, etc. Just wish that I'm in a relationship.....

It can be hard waiting and I think I have become a pro at it! I do want to have the right person, some one who had has picked for me, at least we are single but not in a bad relationship.

I agree with you....no point being in a relationship which is not meant to be. I'm sure the Lord had prepared someone for us and this special someone had been "custom-made" just for us. Only God knows what is best and His timing is also always good.

why wait for good times? you can have fantastic times now! as a single! come on, enjoy what you can. no compromises, meet friend, go on parties, enjoy sunsets, whatever.

I don't get jealous at happy couples. for me it's rather difficult to meet sweet and nice guys I could develop feelings for. although... no... it's not really a problem. I guess I enjoy it as well...

honestly. enjoy your single being without hanging there thinking bout all the things you would have if you're in a relationship. get real, have a life, enjoy your time with god and friends and cheer up at the beauty around you.

I also can relate to the desire for someone close. Just recently the Lord has really given me a peace about waiting.

I believe it is Paul who spoke about the value of being single. And the opportunities that we can have as singles. I am finding that it is easier to minister where He would have me to be being single.

I didn't always feel this way, and still do desire the relationship that He has for me, when it's His time!
