Single and Lovin' it.........Sorta

Okay, I'll admit it, there are times, when I wish I had a woman, and no not just for sex, (although, I do wish I was married, so I could do that and not feel bad about it! I mean, i'm 32, it would be nice!) MY problem is, I was in a non-Christian type relationship. and it involved the "normal" stuff couples do...you know... and I got seriously hurt and "screwed over" By a heartless woman. anyhow... I'm wanting a TRUE Christian relationship, I want a Godly wife, (not to be confused with a Wife that has a "Form of Godliness!) someone who's basically a pentecostal woman, Spirit-filled, But not some crazy off the wall one... one who's like me, more a Bapticostal or a PenteBaptist...

Anyhow, I'd like to find a local person, here in the Detroit area, If you all wanna pray for me, pray The Lord sends me the right woman, someone who looks like someone I want. I had a young lady in mind, But I don't think that would ever happen. But with God all things are possible. I wish she read here, I'd tell her flat out how I felt and that I wanted to get to her better.

Hey,
I know what your going through (kinda) i'm 18 so add another 14 years on and I'm sure theres a lot more need/want/pressure to finally be w/ someone for life. I was also recently involed in the ''normal'' not christian stuff with a woman who was uhm no mother teressa.

I'm now dealing with being with her, no kids or nothing, just all the after shock feelings and the getting over not being with someone now, I decided I was not going to sleep with her and she decided she didnt want to be with me then, but the doors still open for me to move back in with her and my doors open for us to get married then live together, I doubt either of us will meat in the middle.

Theres no easy way to deal with it, but also throughing yourself in another relationship could be just as bad for you. I'm trying to work things out with the girl I was with, even tho shes no ''mother teresa'' we still had a sexual relationship and I think I should have a certain amount of obligation to work it out as a christian to be with that person. Shes a christian, just not on my same level (unequelly yoked? i guess).

Im happier now then I have been since I was with my ex, and still single. I do wish I had a gf from time to time, like my ex only not as sheltered. I think that another person in my life would be great, but Im not stressing it anymore.
