  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi all,

My name is Cindy and I am single again after an almost 9 year marriage. I am almost 28 years old. I have 2 children. Desiree 8 and Curtis 4. I got to school online and I am working full time.

It feels so odd to be single again because when I got married I had just turned 19. So now I have to get used to being single again and the get back in the dating game when I am ready to do that. Which I don't think will happen for a long time. Well anyways I just wanted to introduce myself.

I'm so sorry for what you had to go through. After 9 years of marriage life, you suddenly have to be single and having two children with you. I will be :prayer: for you that God will give you the strength to live on.

Perhaps, you can use this time to focus on the Lord and have Him to guide you in your life. He knows what is best for you and I'm sure when you are ready, the man will just appear to you. :)

Thanks everyone for the welcome!

That is what I am doing right now focusing on the Lord and have Him guide me. I am not stressed and not mad at my x because I know God will get me through this.
