Genesis 1:2i says that God created each living creature individually rather than a common ancestor. The two sources in your post are saying two different things.
Creative! As children of God we are creative. Not really. What it shows is that there were two Creations. One, by the hands of Jesus Gen 2:7 and Gen 2:19 which are His kinds. Gen 1:21 shows that God the Trinity created "every living creature that moveth" from WATER or Their kinds.

When I was 12 years old I stood in the Sistine chapel staring up at that, it was pre-restoration. My wife, an art historian, points out that the cape in the background is thought form a half section of a cranium with the figures as brain mater. Gods legs represent the brain stem.
This is how Michelangelo saw the creation of Adam from the Proverbs 8 creation story. That is Sophia (Holy Wisdom) in the crook of God's left arm. A scene just as fanciful as the various creation stories themselves.

Not two creations just two stories. And what about the other creation stories like Proverbs 8:22-31?

The verse says God created fish and birds. No creativeness needed since that is EXACTLY what the verses say. What is interesting is that NO ancient man could have possibly known what God told us in the first chapter of Genesis. It's empirical (testable) scientific evidence of God.
Gen 2:7 ¶ And the LORD God formed man (we are His kinds) He also made the beasts of the field and birds. Gen 2:19 (They are His kinds)
Gen 1:21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth,
God is the Hebrew word Elohim, a PLURAL name of the Trinity.
Lord God is the Hebrew word YHWH, a SINGULAR name of the Lord Jesus in the O.T.
Here's WHY. The Trinity (Their kinds) are ETERNAL creations which shows the AGREEMENT of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Gen 1:26 and John 14:16
YHWH is the ONLY God ever formed physically or that ever will be formed physically. Beside Him there is NO Savior. God is One and Jesus is Lord.
Isa 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside Me there is no Saviour.
His kind are ALWAYS temporal creations and that is WHY mankind MUST be born again or born from above by the Trinity/Their kind. Jesus said:
Jhn 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
God Bless you
The verse says God created fish and birds.
Here is the verse:
Gen 1:21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after Their kind, and every winged fowl after His kind: and God saw that it was good.
Whales are NOT fish. The verse says whales, birds and every living creature that moveth which the WATERS brought forth abundantly, which AGREES with what Science discovered last July. https://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/26/science/last-universal-ancestor.html
This agrees with Gen 1:1-2 which says that everything the Lord formed contained air, dust or ground without form, and water. It also agrees with Gen 2:19 which shows that the Lord God/Jesus made the birds and God "created" them eternally after His/Jesus kinds. Fowl or birds are an Eternal Creation by the Trinity and will be in God's perfect 3rd Heaven, forever.
1) Gen 1 9-11 has God creating grass and seeds, that doesn't say they came from the sea.
I always thought Gen 1 came before Gen 2? Maybe the pages got all mixed up on the way to the printer?Lord God/Jesus made the grass, herbs and trees AFTER He made Adam. Gen 2:4-9
None of them "moveth" as the creatures made from water in Gen 1:25. Plants do not have brains.
The plants herbs and trees GREW on the 3rd Day. Gen 1:12
Life from Water, which Science calls "Natural" came forth from water, on the present Earth, on the 5th Day, some 4 Billion years ago in man's time. The sons of God (prehistoric people) came forth from this event. They did not become Humans (Adam's descendants) until AFTER Noah Gen 8:4 arrived in the mountains of Ararat 11k years ago. Here's the beginning History of Human civilization, on this planet. Map: Fertile Cresent, 9000 to 4500 BCE
*** 9 And God (Trinity) said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
God spoke and put water, which surrounded the hollow firmament, into the interior of the FIRST firmament and put dry land on top of the water. The highest elevation on Adam's flat Earth was only 22.5 feet and that's when the flood covered it's highest mountains. Gen 7:20
*** 10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
When God twisted the water to put it into the firmament, it made "a roaring" sound which is what God called "Seas". Seas in Hebrew means "a roaring".
*** 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after His kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
Lord God/Jesus fulfilled God's command but BEFORE He made the grass, herbs and trees, He made Adam of the dust of the ground. Gen 2:4-7 AFTER that Jesus planted a Garden in Eden and put the man He had formed and made the trees which GREW on the 3rd Day. Gen 1:12 AND Gen 2:8-9
*** 2) .....and every winged fowl after His kind.
Neither one says that life first emerged from the primitive life patterns of the Sea. The authors didn't know any better.
God the Holy Spirit did know and that's WHY He correctly Authored the Truth which was recently discovered, more than 3k years ago.
www.smithsonianmag.com/.../behold-luca-last-universal-common-ancestor-life-earth-...It's PROOF of the Literal God since NO ancient man of the time could have possibly known this Fact.
Seems to me that you have confused Adam's flat Earth with the present Earth. Don't you know that Adam's Earth was totally destroyed in the flood? ll Pet 3:6
God is the Hebrew word Elohim, a PLURAL name of the Trinity.

A very poor understanding. The early Hebrews believed in the entire pantheon of the Mid-Eastern gods but regarded El as the chief god and the only one they were permitted to worship. This is known as "henotheism". "Elohim" as plural simply refers to the rest of the gods. From there the Hebrews gradually moved into monotheism.
Then please explain this verse from Genesis One.
Gen 1:26 ¶ And God (Elohim) said, Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness:
Just go back and reread my post. A better rendering would be "And the gods (Elohim) said, let US make man in OUR image, and after OUR likeness". There is really no need for us to be upset about the beliefs of the ancient Hebrews.
I sympathize with this point because it does clearly elude to the belief in pluralistic deity. "To the Jews, Elohim was the God of gods, while Yahweh was the God of Israel." Myself, I most certainly believe in plural manifestation of the first source an center as a student of the Urantia revelation. The exclusive oneness concept in the Monotheism of Judaism developed in a culture that was surrounded by Pagan concepts of multiple deities and various false or inferior God concepts. Then please explain this verse from Genesis One.

By the times of Christ the Jews had settled on a singular One God, The Lord God of Israel. They were NOT waiting for his Son to come down from heaven. After Jesus left then believers found themselves in a situation wherein they had to try to explain theologically who this Son of God was in relation to the One God concept of Judaism.
"To the Jews, Elohim was the God of gods, while Yahweh was the God of Israel. Jesus accepted the concept of Elohim and called this supreme group of beings God. In the place of the concept of Yahweh, the racial deity, he introduced the idea of the fatherhood of God and the world-wide brotherhood of man. He exalted the Yahweh concept of a deified racial Father to the idea of a Father of all the children of men, a divine Father of the individual believer. And he further taught that this God of universes and this Father of all men were one and the same Paradise Deity.
Jesus never claimed to be the manifestation of Elohim (God) in the flesh. He never declared that he was a revelation of Elohim (God) to the worlds. He never taught that he who had seen him had seen Elohim (God). But he did proclaim himself as the revelation of the Father in the flesh, and he did say that whoso had seen him had seen the Father. As the divine Son he claimed to represent only the Father.
He was, indeed, the Son of even the Elohim God; but in the likeness of mortal flesh and to the mortal sons of God, he chose to limit his life revelation to the portrayal of his Father's character in so far as such a revelation might be comprehensible to mortal man. As regards the character of the other persons of the Paradise Trinity, we shall have to be content with the teaching that they are altogether like the Father, who has been revealed in personal portraiture in the life of his incarnated Son, Jesus of Nazareth."
