No, that isn’t a problem. Jesus explained it to us:

I do believe we should repent of our sin, but sometimes I wonder how people really think i it's possible to repent of every sin they ever commit. Either they don't see a lot of their sin as Sin, or else they are repenting every 2 minutes. I agree that Christ took our every sin on himself, so that it is finished. But at the same time, will full sin will mess up your relationship with God.

Jesus saves, but we keep ourselves out of trouble when we resist the temptation to sin.

Never meet a Christian that said they never have to repent. We confess our sins to Christ .. he was not talking to sinners. The fact our flesh still LOVES to sin.. we think speak.. things every day blah blah blah.

Christ came died.. all finished. We are in right standing with GOD..aka righteousness. God sees us as a finished work THROUGH Christ. God IS faithful to Christ..what Christ did on the cross.

But we all have sin.. or we deceive our selfs and the truth is not in us. Again.. never meet one. God has not changed.. there is no..what God WAS.. He is. How he felt about SIN before the world was up to now has not changed.

It is true that if I sin against you, I bring trouble into your life, but I also bring trouble into my own life. If I want to be at peace, I need to stop sinning.

It doesn't. You either sin or you repent of sin meaning you choose not to further sin in that way. It does have a great deal to do with not allowing sin to control us and/or the world.

Then I would say there is a connection between repentance and sin. We repent of our sin.

To sin is to do what is damaging or harmful to ourselves and/or others, now and/or in the future.

To repent is to recognize the sin for what it is and to choose to not keep doing it.

To ask for God's forgiveness is to express acknowledgement and regret for one's sin and to be spared from the consequences we deserve because of it.

No. If something is dangerously on fire you need to pour water on it to put it out. But that does not mean that there is a connection between fire and water.

Read that verse because in my life both Matthew 10:34 AND Jeremiah 31:31-36 are equally true, and just like Isaiah said, I can soar on wings like eagles, I can run and not grow weary, walk and not be faint. And I'm disabled.

We all struggle, we all get chastised by God from time to time... but our lives? Those are in Christ - not in constant misery no matter what the world throws at us...

I dont think anyone does that! Certainly not people who belong to Christ...

messing up occasionally and sinning - losing patience, not feeling charitable toward a brother etc. - is not the same as sitting around sinning for pleasure..

The problem lies when people start saying that we can and should be living sinless or we aren't Christian. The response is in the truth - and we speak the truth, sinless perfection is not scriptural. This way people are not terrified of going to hell for messing up because someone filled their heads full of untruths.
