If so, I want to chastize all of you who are posting about Cadbury candy ANYthing. I am trying so hard to lose weight before my son's wedding, and you are tempting me!!!!

ah yes...the Cadbury Creme eggs is Lutheran code for ...umm...Spiritual works?...no that's not it...are Cadbury eggs mentioned in the BOC?...

Ken, yeah, are you in all the ELCA groups I'm in? I know you are in one. You should read those replies. They are sickening. They are telling me I need to attend that church, that the website doesn't say anything wrong. They applaud them for being different and unique.
Different and unique is fine for me, IF it's still Lutheran. This is not Lutheran at all.

I was in ELCA'ers...Right now I still am...I am trying to come up with a response to thier nonsense before I leave the group...this stuff is rediculous...

Ah, you should see the one in the ELCA young adults, too. It's so sad that there are so many people in those groups and they don't want to take a stand for the Lutheran faith.
I've felt like crying ever since. . .what are they being taught? I even e-mailed the responses in MySpace messages I got to one pastor because this is a youth and family minister and it concerns me what she's teaching the youth because of her responses.
I need to go look at that awful herchurch.org website again. I brought it up at our council meeting today and they want to see it so they know what it's about. I told them that people need to write and we don't want form letters.
I'm going to find the e-mails for people with the ELCA Youth Ministry Network and e-mail them as well. Surely they don't want youth learning this. We worshipped God the Father at the Extravaganza. We didn't have idols. (We had playdough in the prayer chapel, though! LOL - that was for sculpting "slow" things, however.)
This is getting way out of hand. . .just more and more supporters.
