Is anyone really interested in some aspect of science, thinking about majoring in a science, or majoring in a science?

I'm a biology major (switching to psychobiology) and I really love what I'm doing. I'm thinking about doing research next summer.

I know you science-lovers are out there!

I love science. I am in my second year (of four) of a physics degree and I am finding it very interesting, although difficult. Quantum physics and thermodynamics are my favorite topics. I am also interested in other science, and read 'The Variety of Life' a couple of years ago, an academic but accessible overview of all the kinds of life and how it is classified.

I love computer science and engineering people!!  Y'all are just cool and quirky in all the best ways...wish I was into that stuff.

*the_man, your response to the comment dissing me is right on!  (I'm a big sports fan).

Anyone into psychology?   My major is partly in the psych dept, because I enjoy psych, especially personality theory and the humanistic approach to psych.  :D

I really despise physics :p ( no offence yahweh ) so I took computer science as an elective instead, learning Java. Stuffing that one up really bad as well. SIgh. Thinking of taking phsychology for an elective next semester. Might as well try out all the diff types, hey? ;) hehe. Man...java is so stressful. :(

I currently work in cancer research, and I love it. I have a degree in Vet Assisting and an AS in liberal Arts with the majority of my classes being in biology. I really enjoy what I do and have been at it for almost two years now.

I'm doing a wannabe science degree right now (see related thread by me), but am still a big fan of the classic liberal arts education. I've discovered that as long as you can get the skills training, many companies really like people who can do critical thinking clearly. I know a couple English majors now coding for Microsoft.

Obviously, if you're shooting for hard-core science, then it's best to stay in the academic world and do your learning from there.
