Yes I have a brother who is 18. We are not close, we get along by not spending too much time around eachother.

The kid is immature and impulsive.

Three weeks ago my aunt's father passed away. Now understand that this particular aunt is married to my dad's IDENTICAL TWIN BROTHER. We are close with that family, very close they are pretty much my second immediate family. We invite eachother and do a lot of things that we just don't do for other members of our family. (not that we don't love them but we're just close with this family)

My mom and I went to the viewing 5 pm and my brother was suppose to meet us there at the same time. We get there and sit down and start talking with people and 5:15 rolls around and my brother still isn't there. So I step outside to call him and find out where he is. He's in Michigan City (20 min drive) dropping off stuff for his best friend's girlfriend (Who is way too close to him especially considering he has his own gf that feels very threatened by her). So instead of being with his family at their time of morning he's out doing favors for some girl. And so at 6 pm as we are about to leave my brother comes strolling into the funeral home with an untucked button up shirt, skater shoes on and a baseball cap. Thank God he was wearing decent pants. I was very tempted to take him out back and give him a beat down. And I do not like to physically fight people.

I have 2 older brothers. I used to be close to them. They have really rebelled against my parent's teachings and are miserable now. It's hard to be around them. I feel like both of them are intent on tearing everyone around them down. I pray for them all the time and I hope that someday they will be open to Truth in their lives.

Well I don't know how bad they are but typically when someone hits their own rock bottom (whereever that may be) then those people turn around then.

yeah, well maybe my bros have a very deep bottom. My oldest brother has done some HARD living and he's not even 35 yet. He has been broken before and always it's like he has a knot of hardness all around him. I can't even explain it, but yeah my whole family needs the Lord.

Sorry Mina and Luther to hear of your family troubles. Just reading what you've posted makes me feel some of what you're going through. Praying for both of your families, because God can turn any situation around, and I know He can do it for you both.

My family has had their own troubles to deal with, betrayals, hurt, being lied on talked about, you know the rest But fortunately, all of us know and love God. I'm the youngest, my sisters 39 (missionary) and 36 (evangelist), my brother is 34 , a bishop and a pastor. I love them all dearly. The devil has really tried to mess with them financially, in their marriages, and ministries. They were almost killed each of them, my 2nd oldest sister and brother a bad car accident. My oldest sister was born prematurely and was incredibly small. And still managed to lose weight after she was born. But the Lord kept her, she's now a mother of 6. My brother has a son.

Out of us though, I'm the more quiet, eccentric. I'll pick out an old rusty car on the side of the road and say "that's hot." They'll look and feel my head to see if I'm hot. I'll dance to disco just cause it's fun. Then the next moment I can listen to some 40s and dance the Carlton dance. They'll just look and smile. They're more of the jokesters, more outgoing. But we still love and appreciate one another. They accept me for who I am and I love them, look up to them even though I don't say it that much. They're truly a blessing to me, just watching what they've been through yet they still love the Lord and live for Him. I'm blessed to have them as siblings.

I also have a half brother and sister that are twins from my dad's second marriage. apparently there are also 2 guys about my age or a little younge from and dad's 3rd marriage, I've never met them and don't care to meet them, seeing as they've both been in jail.

My own brothers are awesome and we get along great. Jeff and I are basically attached at the hip! We are forever planning things to do with eachother. He is single and lives here with my mom and I. My oldest brother is great fun, but he lives about 4 hours away. I talk to him on MSN and emails, but we don't see eachother often enough. His wife is a lovely sister to me. I had the pleasure of living with Levi for a year before he got married. So that brought us closer too, and it was nice to get to see his wife so much before theye married.
My half sidling I only sort of know, but they are nice. Their mom is doing a pretty good job of single parenting.

I have one older sister who is 3 years older than I. We are very close. We both have two sons - ages 5 and 2. Our older sons were born on the same day, 21 hours and 5,000 miles apart. Our younger sons are only 3 months apart in age. We live within 5 minutes of each other and get together frequently. In fact, my brother-in-law is the president of the company I work for, so I see him more than I see her!

We fought like typical siblings growing up, but became very close in our early 20s. There isn't anything we wouldn't do for each other and having her nearby is a total blessing!

I have a younger brother and a younger sister. I get along pretty well with my brother, but that has only happened in the last year or so. My sister I don't really know all that well, she is 16 and its hard for us to relate to each other.

My first younger sister is married and now expecting twins!! I can't wait for that. Of all my siblings she was my least favorite but certainly not estranged or anything. My least favorite sibling was probably better than the best sibling in many families

My brother is 9 years younger and we have never done a lot together. But I just took him to Cedar Point last week for his birthday so we could spend time together. He's not a bad kid.

I would have to say that my parents did a very good job raising 5 kids.

My older brother (the eldest)- 27. He drove me absolutely insane with anger most of my life. Now we get along really well and love each other even more deeply before. He and his family live in California now, so we're very far apart and only see one another twice a year at the most. Great man, great father, and I respect him deeply.

My older sister - 26. She and I were best friends from the start, always hanging out together and playing. She's the only person who can make me laugh as hard, and she also knows all my buttons to push and she can make me angrier than anyone on earth. But we're close, we're pretty alike, and I love her deeply. She lives in North Carolina so we are also too far apart to see each other often. Maybe three times a year now...

My sister-in-law- 26. Great woman, fits in with our family really well, great mother, funny, and good for my brother. I like that we can have fun together and get along well! I'd like to get closer to her as a sister, but that is taking time, especially living so far away. We disagree strongly on many issues, but we just get past those.

step-sister: 17. Just joined the family one year ago! I wish she spent more time with us so we could know her better, but she's a great girl, odd (which works in our family), and she loves havign siblings now! I'm happy to get to know her more, and I'm sure we'll grow in closeness over the years. It's a bit hard being tight with a teenager, but it's just new for me to act like an older sister since I've always been the youngest. Very exciting for both of us

I get along better with later-borns for the most part. Sometimes firstborns really get on my nerves. (Sorry)
