  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I wish they could tell. I always come off as uninterested, but really I am just shy! I suggest be more persistant with the shy/uninterested, but not pushy. The more you talk, the more we open up. If they don't open up after a while, then they are not interested. See MR. DARCY for example of a love-struck dummy.

how do you know if someone is shy or not interested? I personally find this harder among christians. but since i am unwilling to date outside of the faith, there is little else i can do but speculate... some opinions on the matter would be appreciated

I'm interested, let's date.

I am an extreamly shy person. I have this thing called social anxiety disorder, where people make me really nervous to the point where i get sick. I feel bad because when ever i meet someone new their first impression is usually that i am stuck up, mad, or just dont care. none of these are true, most of the time i am just trying to fight off a stomach ache. And yes it is true the more someone talks to me the more i will start to open up to them. so dont give up.
