We want to encourage people to read this article on the 9th of Av (July 21st), which is the week before the reading of the Shema, July 29th. We recommend reading it and following the links that are embedded in the article. This year TuB’Av is sunset Friday, July 27th-sunset Saturday, July 28th. We are asking churches around the world to show their solidarity with the God of Israel and the nation of Israel by having their churches/fellowships take just 2 minutes to read the greatest commandment to love the Lord our God from Deuteronomy 6:4-9 during their Sunday service July 29th.

Every synagogue around the world will be reading those same verses that same weekend on July 28th. How exciting for Jews and non Jews around the world to proclaim their solidarity with the God of Israel on the same weekend!

Please, regardless of whether you meet on Saturdays or Sundays as believers let’s all join together as one! So see if your congregation/fellowship whether it be large or small would you sign up on our calendar that you will read the greatest commandment that weekend! Even if you already read it every weekend, sign up just to show Israel they are not alone! Home fellowships welcomed as well!

And you shall teach them diligently unto your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
And you shall write them upon the posts of your house, and on your gates.

Just to be clear, the request in the OP is to recite Deuteronomy 6:4-9, not just verse 4.
