CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

To me: you've got one day left. Just one.....today has been the worst day of your life, but tomorrow night you shall be alright.....just got to hold on just a little longer.
To others: I think your prayers are working.....?
Got a phone call for therapy today (that's also on Friday), and I felt this point during my anxiety-riddled day (it was so horrible....beyond words) where something came upon me and put me at a sort of peace. Whatever that was, I'd like to know and I'd like to thank it very much.
To God: if it's you, just tell me where to go and what to do. I don't have much of a choice to do anything else right now.

Not till june 2, it wasn't exactly something people knew, but it's okay. i have a book that may be of use, but we will see.

oh, well then you should have told them already. or they should have asked about what team you played for, at the very least.
these new guys....they're like "it's okay. you WILL MAKE IT." when I was on the phone b/c the phone conversation itself gave me some stress and I've been sans-meds today....then they asked me if I had a church home, and I told them I did. They're in for a nice surprise, haha. I'm thinking about stepping down from ministry, btw, due to my illness.

You are a nice lady, and I enjoy some of our talks...but your opinions and views on the financial markets are polar opposite to mine in many ways. I don't want to argue with you and it's apparent to me that you are very opinionated in absense of some very basic facts.
You are beginning to become a hinderance to me and my thinking for this reason. You aren't putting money on the line, you just have opinions. I am. This is why I made a real wager with you...to teach you that opinions, even strong ones, are mighty cheap if you aren't ready to take risks for them.
I don't want to argue. If you want to remain friends you're going to have to be a positive influence, because this is important to me. If you need to convert everyone you know and get angry when they don't agree...I'm afraid I'm going to have less and less time for you.
And I'm going to tell you this for real very soon.
