Shouldn't Trump get some credit?

The media has done a lot of attacking of both candidates but their main focus has been the GOP candidate Trump. Hes been blasted for not acting presidential, but when he acts presidential by going down to meet with Mexico's president hes blasted for it. I talked about this in my post at The Systems Scientist. I would say the exact opposite is happening. If the media was truly calling out Trump for his actions: his courting racists, his hiring advocates for White Supremacists (rebranded alt - right) to run his campaign, his conning of desperate people with Trump University, his taking charity money to pay his legal bills, and on and on and on, this election would be over.

But as tulc so accurately puts it, Trump is the biggest clown in the Republican clown car, and the media is making a fortune...so long as Trump is in the race. As soon as he drops too low in the polls, the clickers quit clicking, the viewers quit viewing, and the goose that laid the golden egg is dead.

Unless you don't think the 24 hour News Stations want to maximize their profit?

Is going to meet with other counties' heads of state before you're even elected "presidential"? Some might call it presumptuous and of little practical value.

Even the media is admitting they aren't be objective in the coverage of Trump. Of course something like only 6 percent of the people trust the media anyway, so maybe it doesn't matter much.

Obviously it wasn't swept under the rug, I've heard about this for ages. And what would be the point of going after a looney? It's not like it makes any difference in the scope of things.

Fact: According to this poll, if I'm arguing with two Trump supporters, the odds are good that at least one of them is a racist.

I would call that "Deplorable". I would call those people who are racists, nearly half of all Trump supporters, "Deplorable".

I'm thinking since Mr Trump seems to have built most of his campaign on making sure the Syrian children keep right on suffering because, you know: "TERRORISTS!!!" that accusation seems a little too...ironic.
